The City of Laurel will celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 19th. The two-part event will start at the Laurel Municipal Pool parking lot at 10:00 a.m. Volunteers will assist in beautifying Riverfront Park by removing trash and debris. Trash bags and work gloves will be available. Participants will then be treated to a cook out at the Granville Gude Park Lake House at 12:00 noon. Volunteers will enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers before removing trash from the lake and park area. School volunteer forms will be accepted and approved.
