July 13, 2008 at 11:07 P.M. Laurel Police Officers responded to a call for a personal injury hit and run automobile accident involving a Laurel Police Officer.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Route One North bound and Route 198 east bound. PFC Imtiaz Alli was driving north on Route One and upon entering the intersection at Route 198 was struck by a car that ran a red traffic light. Officer Alli
