Mayor Craig A. Moe has announced that the grand opening of the City of Laurel Dog Playground will take place on October 18, 2008 at 10:00am. The Dog Playground is located adjacent to the Leo E. Wilson Park off of Alan Drive at Van Dusen Rd.

At the Ribbon Cutting ceremony, the City of Laurel Dog Playground will be officially named after Dr. Bruce Morley, an area veterinarian who was monumental in the care of the City of Laurel Police Department K-9s. Members of Dr. Morley
