Mayor Craig A. Moe wants to remind area residents that the Main Street Festival will be held this Saturday, May 9.

     In light of the H1N1 (Swine Flu) outbreak, Mayor Moe wants to be
sure that everyone takes precautions in limiting the spread of this
disease. Mayor Moe asks that anyone who is planning on attending the
festivity, that if you or any family member does not feel well, please
refrain from coming out to the Main Street Festival. 

     Mayor Moe asks that if you have any questions pertaining to the
H1N1 (Swine Flu) outbreak, the City of Laurel, in conjunction with the
Laurel Regional Hospital, will be holding a Question and Answer session
on Thursday, May 7 at 7:00pm in the Council Chambers of the Laurel
Municipal Center, 8103 Sandy Spring Rd. You can also visit the City’s
