The City of Laurel
Board of Election Supervisors has announced there will be a Special
Referendum Election on Tuesday, September 8, 2009. The purpose of the
election is to vote upon the recommendations of the Mayor’s Citizens Ad
Hoc Election Committee.
Mayor Craig A. Moe
believes that this is an historical election and encourages all
eligible residents to familiarize themselves with the Election Ad Hoc
Committee’s recommendations, mark their calendars for Tuesday,
September 8 and get out and vote for their election process. The
attached newsletter previews all Referendum questions and will be
helpful to Laurel’s voting residents.
Mayor Moe would also like to thank the Election Ad Hoc Committee
for their hard work and dedication to ensuring that the voters of
Laurel have a say in how their elections will work.
