A
Special Referendum Election is scheduled for Tuesday, September 8,
2009, to decide upon the recommendations from the Election Ad Hoc
Committee. The election will be held at the Phelps Senior Citizens
Center, 701 Montgomery Street, Laurel. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to
8:00 p.m.
Laurel Cable has produced a Public
Service Announcement (PSA) with the Chairman of the Election Ad Hoc
Committee to better inform City residents about the Special Referendum
Election. The PSA will be shown on Laurel Cable Channel 71 on Comcast
and Channel 12 on FiOS throughout the month of August. The PSA can also
be seen on the City’s web site at www.laurel.md.us.
