The City of Laurel Civic Improvement Committee (LCIC) will sponsor a Holiday Decorating Contest for businesses and residences within the city limits of Laurel.

     LCIC members will be driving around Laurel in search of candidates for the Holiday Spirit Outstanding Decorating Awards. As many as ten decorative accomplishments will be honored. 

     The Committee also would be delighted to receive nominations from members of the community. Please leave a message at (301) 776-8966 prior to December 16. All businesses and homes within the city limits are eligible. Judging will take place December 15. Winners will be notified by the Award signs, which will be displayed in their yards. Results will be published in the local newspapers shortly thereafter.
