     Mayor Craig A. Moe invites the public to attend the City of Laurel Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Ceremony to be held January 18, 2010 at 8:30 A.M. at the Laurel Municipal Center located at 8103 Sandy Spring Rd. Door will open at 8:00am and light refreshments will be available.

     Winners of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay contest will read their winning entries, Valerie Gregory will sing in celebration and the City will place a memorial wreath at the Peace Pole outside of the Laurel Municipal Center.
