Mayor Craig A. Moe is pleased to invite the public to attend the City of Laurel’s Annual Open House on March 7, 2010 from 1:00 – 4:00pm at the Laurel Municipal Center, 8103 Sandy Spring Road.

The Mayor’s Open House began five years ago to open the doors of the City to residents so they could get to know the people and departments that keep the City running smoothly.  And in addition to meeting City staff, invitations have gone out to all local non-profit organizations in and around Laurel, so you can also check out different organizations from the Patuxent Wildlife Center to the Laurel 4th of July Committee to learn what they can do for you and what you can do for them.

Also on hand, enjoy the musical sounds of the Pallotti High School Jazz Band, meet life-sized Sesame Street Muppets, and enjoy family fun and entertainment like face painting and balloon twisters.

Our mission is to make the City of Laurel the best place to live, work, play, visit and do business. We value the many diverse cultures represented in our community and we are committed to strengthening our great City by recognizing the value of inclusion.

For more information, please call City Hall at 301-725-5300 ext. 120 or visit the City’s website at www.laurel.md.us.
