     Mayor Craig A. Moe is pleased to announce the Prince George’s County project to reduce sediment in the Laurel Lakes, The Bear Branch Watershed Stream and Watershed Restoration Project, will begin this spring with most of the work being focused west of Van Dusen Road along the Bear Branch stream.

     This project will attempt to reduce sediment into the stream and eventually into Laurel Lakes by installing two sediment basins and repairing and stabilizing the banks of the Bear Branch. The 120 day project was awarded to NAA, Inc. out of McLean, Virginia.
