The City of Laurel will proudly celebrate Arbor Day on Thursday, April 28th at Oseh Shalom Synagogue 7515 Olive Branch Way. The celebration will start at 10:00 a.m. and will include a tree planting on the Synagogue grounds. Mayor Craig A. Moe will accept the 18th consecutive Tree City Award from the National Arbor Day Foundation and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Mayor Moe encourages all citizens to become involved in appreciating and caring for the trees that we have and to plant a tree at home if possible.
