Mayor Craig A. Moe and Laurel Police Chief Richard P. McLaughlin has announced the Third  Annual Laurel Police Cops on Rooftops at Laurel’s Dunkin Donuts.  Several police officers from the Laurel Police Department will be in uniform on the roof of the Dunkin Donuts on Baltimore Ave. in Laurel, MD.  The officers will be eating, sleeping, and dancing the weekend away for 31 consecutive hours from 6am on August 20th until 1pm on August 21st.  The goal is to raise as much money for Maryland Special Olympics as possible in those 31hrs, through donations and various raffles that will be taking place throughout the day.  There will be a DJ, a moon bounce and various other forms of entertainment throughout the event.  Also Dunkin Donuts will be giving out coupons for donuts and coffee to people making donations to Special Olympics.
 
Please stop by for fun, food and entertainment while supporting Maryland Special Olympics.
