Mayor Craig A. Moe has announced that the Volunteer Picnic scheduled for Friday, August 26, 2011 has been cancelled. Due to weather forecasts related to Hurricane Irene, Mayor Moe has made the decision to cancel the picnic so that participants can concentrate on preparations for the impending weather that is predicted to hit the area this weekend. Mayor Moe regrets the need for this cancellation and thanks all of the volunteers for the time they give to the City every day.
