Ms. Kimberley A. Rau, MMC, Clerk to the City of Laurel Board of Election Supervisors, announces that the Board of Election Supervisors will host a public demonstration of the Electronic Voting Machine System that will be used for the November 1, 2011 City of Laurel General Election.  The ELECTronic 1242 is a Full-Face-Ballot, Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) Voting System, is fully comprehensive and completely self-contained.  The public demonstration is scheduled for Thursday, October 20, 2011, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Laurel Municipal Center, 8103 Sandy Spring Road, Laurel.
