Mayor Craig A. Moe is pleased to announce that Saturday, November 26, 2011 is recognized as Small Business Saturday in the City of Laurel and encourages all residents and visitors to support all of Laurel’s local, small businesses.  Small Business Saturday is a national campaign sponsored by American Express asking millions of Americans to Shop Smallsm at their favorite local stores and help fuel the economy. When we all shop small, it will be huge.
 
Mayor Moe said, “The longevity of our locally-owned, small businesses is the cornerstone of Laurel’s economic vitality.  Laurel is proud to be home to many such businesses who have a been in business in Laurel for over 25 years, such as Outback Leather, Hobby Works, Laurel Meat Market, Rainbow Florist, Minute Man Press, Laurel Art Center, and several others.  Laurel is a great place to do business, and I urge everyone to support our local, small businesses on Saturday, November 26, 2011 and every day.”
