Mayor Craig A. Moe is pleased to announce the City of Laurel is working in conjunction with the Laurel Board of Trade regarding the City’s recently approved Economic Development Program. A  meeting of both groups will be held on Thursday, April 12 at 7:00 pm at the Laurel Municipal Center, 8103 Sandy Spring Road. Light refreshments will be served.

The City of Laurel and Laurel Board of Trade are committed to working on a strong and solid partnership between local businesses, communities and the City of Laurel government.  Information has been compiled from many sources so a potential new or existing business owner can come to one location to find out all they need on starting or expanding a business in the City of Laurel.  The City of Laurel has several locally funded programs - Business Relocation Grant Program, Commercial Facade Grant Program, or Sign Grant Program - that may be of interest to business owners and that could help support your business if you are a commercial property or business owner.

Mayor Moe asks that you call 301-725-5300 ext. 2238 to find out if you are eligible for one of these programs. For more information on the Economic Development Program presentation on April 12, please call the Laurel Board of Trade at 301-483-0838.
