Mayor Craig A. Moe is pleased to announce that the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Laurel Police Department will hold a free bike decorating contest, bike parade and ice cream social on Friday, June 8th at the Laurel Armory Anderson and Murphy Community Center.
Children ages 4 to 12 can decorate their bikes and scooters inside the Armory starting at 6:30 p.m. The parade will start at 7:15 p.m. and will travel on Montgomery Street between 4th Street and 5th Street. Bike helmets must be worn. The ice cream social will follow immediately after the parade. Bring the family for some old-fashioned fun.
