Chief Richard McLaughlin has announced that an armed robbery occurred in the City of Laurel. On 06-15-2012 at 11:59 AM, officers of the Laurel Police Department responded to Laurel Park Liquors located at 13600 Baltimore Avenue in Laurel, Maryland.  It has been reported that two men walked into the store posing as customers.  One of the subjects locked the front door and then pointed a handgun at the workers behind the counter announcing a robbery.  The two subjects forced all of the employees to the back of the store while forcing one employee to remove all of the cash from the registers.  After receiving the money the subjects fled the scene. 

The two subjects are described as:



  1. Black male, late 20s to early 30s, about 6-05, close to 300 lbs., wearing dark polo shirt, black pants, and wearing a black hat.

  2. Black male, late 20s to early 30s, about 5-08, about 200 lbs light blue long sleeved shirt, blue jeans, white shoes, and wearing a camouflaged color hat, carrying a small dark semi-automatic handgun.
