On June 16th, 2012 at approximately 1500 hours, Laurel Police responded to the 9100 block of Scott Adam Court, Laurel, Maryland for a robbery that just occurred. The victim reported that four black males pushed him to the ground and one suspect kicked him multiple times. Another suspect pulled out a knife and demanded the victim’s wallet. The suspect then used the knife to cut the pant pocket of the victim and took his wallet. The same suspect then punched the victim in the face multiple times.
Laurel Police officers stopped four subjects in the 8600 block of Cherry Lane, Laurel, Maryland that matched the description. The subjects were all positively identified and arrested.
The four suspects were identified as:
Roy Andrew Peters Jr., DOB: 11/04/1994, of the 800 block of Karen Court, Laurel, Maryland
Ty Remy Roberson, DOB: 03/07/1996, of the 15000 block of Millbrook Lane, Laurel, Maryland
Preston Haythe, DOB: 10/26/95, of the 1200 block of Brentwood Road, NE, Washington, D.C.
Kiare Antonio Ford, DOB: 12/16/1995, of the 15000 block of Millbrook Lane, Laurel, Maryland
The victim suffered two fractures of the jaw and multiple lacerations as a result of the robbery.
All four juveniles were charged as adults with Armed Robbery, First Degree Assault, and Second Degree Assault. All four were held on bond.
