Mayor Craig A. Moe is pleased to announce that the Robert J. DiPietro Community Center and the Parks and Recreation Maintenance Facility have recently been equipped with generators. Mayor Moe states, “The recent storms and power outages have amplified the importance of developing emergency back-up plans for all citizens. The addition of these generators gives the city increased flexibility to serve our citizens in need.” Both of these facilities operated as normal due to the addition of back-up power. The Robert J. DiPietro Community Center was able to serve as a Cooling Center during the recent heat wave along with continuing normal Recreation programs.
