Chief Richard McLaughlin announced that on August 1, 2012 at 0200 hours, two black males, wearing ski masks and carrying handguns, entered the 7-Eleven at 14651 Laurel Bowie Rd. One of the suspects pointed his weapon at the clerk and demanded the money from the cash register. The second suspect approached the lone customer in the store and forced him to the floor at gunpoint. Both suspects then fled the store with an undetermined amount of money, no vehicle was seen. There were no injuries to either victim. The customer who was forced to the floor left the store before police arrived. The Laurel Police Department is asking that victim to come forward and give a statement about the incident.
