Mayor Craig A. Moe will keep the City of Laurel under a Declaration of Emergency until further notice.  Mayor Moe would like the residents and homeowners to know that the City of Laurel Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will be closing at 6:30pm on October 30, 2012. With the closing of the EOC, the Robert J. DiPietro Community Center will also close down their operations as a shelter at 5:00pm on Tuesday, October 30, 2012.

With the closing of the EOC Operations, the phones at the Laurel Municipal Center will no longer be staffed by City personnel. If you have an inquiry that needs assistance, please call the Laurel Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301-498-0092.

If you are in need of Emergency Service, Fire and EMS can be reached by calling 911 and the Laurel Police can be reached by calling 301-725-3000 for Emergency needs. If you need to report a power outage in your area, please call BG&E at 877-778-2222.
