Mayor Craig A. Moe is proud to announce that the City of Laurel will celebrate another Arbor Day on Friday, April 26th at the Avondale Mill picnic area located in Riverfront Park. The celebration will take place at the end of Avondale Street off of Main Street. The celebration will start at 10:00 a.m. and will include a tree planting and light refreshments.

Mayor Craig A. Moe will accept the 20th consecutive Tree City Award from the National Arbor Day Foundation and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Mayor Moe encourages all citizens to become involved in appreciating and caring for the trees that we have and to plant a tree at home if possible.
