Ordinance No. 2002 - an ordinance amending the General Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program of the Mayor and City Council of Laurel, Maryland, for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, and to provide an effective date. Michele Saylor, Director of Budget and Personnel Services, presented the ordinance amending the FY2023 General Operating Budget. After discussion, Council agreed to introduce and hold the first public hearing on Ordinance No. 2002 at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Consideration of a Bid Recommendation - Purchase of a 9-yard Mini Refuse Rear Loader—Department of Public Works. Brian Lee, Director of Public Works, presented the recommendation as outlined in a memorandum dated September 26, 2022. After discussion, Council agreed to award the purchase at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Consideration of a Bid Recommendation - Purchase of Two (2) 2022 Chevrolet 2500HD Pickup Trucks — Department of Public Works. Brian Lee, Director of Public Works, presented the recommendation as outlined in a memorandum dated September 23, 2022. After discussion, Council agreed to award the purchase at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Consideration of a Bid Recommendation - Purchase of a 2023 Freightliner Refuse Packer—Department of Public Works. Brian Lee, Director of Public Works, presented the recommendation as outlined in a memorandum dated September 23, 222. After discussion, Council agreed to award the purchase at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Consideration of a Bid Recommendation - Replacement of Two (2) Pedestrian Bridges at Riverfront Park— Department of Parks and Recreation. Bill Bailey, Director of Parks and Recreation, presented the recommendation as outlined in a memorandum dated September 16, 2022. After discussion, Council agreed to award the project at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Consideration of a Bid Recommendation - Labor and Material to Install New Path Lights at Granville Gude Park — Department of Parks and Recreation. Bill Bailey, Director of Parks and Recreation, presented the recommendation as outlined in a memorandum dated September 16, 2022. After discussion, Council agreed to award the bid proposal at the Mayor and City Counci Meeting on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
There being no further business to come before the Mayor and City Council the meeting was adjourned at 6:23 p.m.
