BOARD OF ELECTION SUPERVISORS

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2021, 9:15 A.M. ZOOM

 

 

 

The meeting was called to order at 9:24 a.m. with Chairman Kish presiding. Roll was called with John R. Kish, Chairman; William Wellford, Chief Judge, Ward 1; Rhonda Whitley, Chief Judge, Ward 2; Kenya Barno, Administrative Assistant and Kimberley Rau, Clerk present.

 

            Minutes of Board of Election Supervisors Meeting on September 2, 2021, were approved as submitted.

 

Update from the Clerk:

 

  1. Process for Hybrid Election – Board approved the attached plan for the Hybrid Election.
  2. Candidate Packets – Clerk updated the Board on the number of candidates for the upcoming Election.
  3. Candidate Orientation, September 20, 2021 – Orientation will include conduct of candidates on Election Day as well as Challenger’s and Watchers; parking on Election Day; Financial Disclosure Statements.

 

New Business:

 

  1. Clerk will prepare chain of custody for retrieving ballots from the Drop Boxes to be reviewed and approved by the Board.
  2. Board will meet with Bill Baility at the two polling locations to create a parking and traffic plan for Election Day.
  3. Schedule training with Electec for the E-Poll Books – tentative Thursday, October 28, 2021, for Board and Election Judges.

 

Next meeting of the Board is Thursday, September 23, 2021, 10:00 a.m.
