There was discussion regarding the new City of Laurel Façade Improvement Program through the Maryland Historical Trust. Staff does not expect a lot of applications as funds provided will only cover approximately 4-6 properties. These applications will not be going before the Historic District Commission for approval due to a timing issue, as everything has to be approved and done by June 2021. Staff will decide what is covered under the grant and will keep the Chair of the Commission in the loop as to what properties are approved.
