- Approval of the Minutes for the Regular HDC meeting held on January 19, 2021.
- HDC-045-2021 for 336 Prince George Street, submitted by Brian Coyle, the applicant is seeking approval to: (1) Replace wood boards on the front porch. The existing boards will be replaced with a 3.1” wide Timbertech grey colored composite decking. The existing porch wood board color is dark grey. (2) Remove and replace two (2) windows in the rear of the house. The existing white windows are two over two grid. The new windows will be a white double pane aluminum frame vinyl windows with no grid. The new windows will be located where the existing bathroom on the 1st and 2nd floor are in the rear of the house. The trim around the new windows will be painted to match existing tan color.
- HDC-046-2021 for 347 Main Street, submitted by Marie Michel, the applicant is proposing to install a new canopy on the front of the building. The new canopy will be the same size as the existing canopy and will be comprised of black vinyl fabric and canopy sunbrella material. Canopy signage: The canopy will have text in silver/metallic white that reads: “CHEZ YIAMME’S”, ‘CUISINE & FUNCTIONS”, “FOOD TRUCK”, “CATERING”, “POP-UP RESTAURANT”. The Applicant is aware that their pending City of Laurel Use & Occupancy permit will only allow for the food truck, catering, and pop-up restaurant uses.
Staff Approvals:
HDC-043-2021 for 333 Prince George Street, submitted by Oscar De La Puente, the applicant proposed to replace seven (7) windows on house to include: two (2) kitchen windows, four (4) windows on first floor and one (1) window on second floor, all Georgetown Series double hung in white vinyl. All new windows will match existing windows pattern/color. All work will be considered “in-kind.”
HDC-044-2021 for 327 Montgomery Street, submitted by Elden Carnahan, this house used to have antique shutters on 16 windows visible from the street. Over time some have decayed and were removed. 20 of the 32 remain, plus the two (2) made in 2014. Applicant requested to have the remaining ten (10) made from scratch, using cedar to match the existing shutters. Will be painted in the teal color used on the house previously, similar to the Ithaca Teal PL12 in the approved colors list. All work will be “in-kind”, same style color and material.
