There were no members of the public present.

A. Bid Recommendation - Ammunition Purchase for the Laurel Police Department. Chief Hamill presented the bid recommendation for the purchase of ammunition for the Laurel Police Department as outlined in a memorandum dated September 23, 2019. After review and discussion, the Council agreed to approve the purchase at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, 7:00 p.m.

B. Bid Recommendation - IT Fiber Construction. Kevin Frost, Director of Information Technology presented the recommendation to award a contract for fiber construction, as outlined in a memorandum dated October 8, 2019. After review and discussion, the Council agreed to award the contract at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, 7:00 p.m.

C. Lisa Woods, Deputy Director of Budget and Personnel Services, presented Ordinance No. 1951 – An ordinance to amend the Employee Pension Plan - DROP Extension. Ms. Woods explained that this current DROP agreement expires in December 2019. This legislation extends the DROP from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2024.

Councilmembers agreed to introduce and hold the first public hearing at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, 7:00 p.m

D. Ordinance No. 1950 - Amend Police Pension Plan - DROP Extension. Introduction and first public hearing at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, 7:00 p.m.

E. Bid Recommendation- One (1)10-Ton Dump Truck with Snow Plow and Salt Spreader. Rob Ferree, Director of Public Works. presented the bid recommendation for the purchase of a 10-ton dump truck with Snow Plow and Salt Spreader as outlined in a memorandum dated October 17, 2019. Funded in the Capital Improvement Plan in Fleet Replacement Program for a total cost of $149,968.

Councilmembers agreed to award the contract at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, 7:00 p.m.

There being no further business to come before the Mayor and City Council the meeting was adjourned at 7:16 p.m.
