LAUREL ARTS COUNCIL
Meeting Minutes
June 11, 2019

The Laurel Arts Council (LAC) held its February meeting from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at the Laurel Municipal Center in Laurel, MD on June 11, 2019. Chair Kelsey Eustace called the meeting to order.

PRESENT: Bharati Dhruva, Chris Dwyer, Cheryl Dyer, Kelsey Eustace, Alisa Kerr, Melissa Holland, Angie O’Neal, Joanne Hall Barr (Dept. of Parks & Recreation, DPR)

ABSENT: Marilyn Byers, Nadia Janjua, Leigha Steele

GUESTS: Robin Murray ([email protected], Laurel, MD), Diane Kerr (Laurel, MD), Inka Patel ([email protected]), James Hester (FAICP Chair, Laurel Ethical Commission), Jay Williams

 

Minutes from last meeting were accepted.

Business    

 

  1. City of Laurel Ethics Commission
    1. James Hester went through the do’s and dont’s of ethical behavior for City committees, focusing on how to avoid conflicts of interest in spending government funds and in selecting events and entities to support or promote.

    2. Tuesday, October 8th at 6:30 pm – Elections
