1. Agenda Items

A. Bid Recommendation- Employee Benefit Insurance.  Lisa Woods, Human Resources Officer present the recommendation to renew the Employee Benefit Insurance, as outlined in a memorandum dated August 22, 2019. The Councilmembers were all in agreement to award the renewal of the Employee Benefit Insurance at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Monday, September 9, 2019, 7:00 p.m.

B. Bid Recommendation- Purchase of Police In Car Camera Systems.  Kevin Frost, Director of Information Technology, presented the bid recommendation for the purchase of Police in-car Camera System, as outlined in a memorandum dated August 16, 2019.  Councilmembers were in agreement to award the purchase at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Monday, September 9, 2019, 7:00 p.m. 

President Smalls announced the Mayor had requested an Emergency Closed Session.

President Smalls made the following statement regarding the adjournment to Closed Session on this date.  The reason for adjourning to a Closed Session is to consult with counsel to obtain legal advice.  The authority for this Closed Session is contained in the General Provisions Article Subsection 3-305 (b) (7).

On motion by Councilmember Leszcz, seconded by Councilmember Nicholas, the Mayor and City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 7:17 p.m.

The Mayor and City Council reconvened the Work Session at 7:31 p.m. 

There being no further business to come before the Mayor and City Council the meeting was adjourned at 7:31 p.m.
