A. Bid Recommendation - Hazard Mitigation Services. Stephen E. Allen, Sr., Emergency Manager presented the recommendation for Hazard Mitigation Services as outlined in a memorandum dated June 4, 2019. The Office of Emergency Management requires an expert to provide consulting services for several projects related to the City's Hazard Mitigation Plan and Program. Frank McColm, President & CEO of the F. C. McColm Consulting LLC is currently providing these services through a contract that expires June 2019. Mr. Allen is recommending award a one-year contract, with a two-year extension to the F. C. McColm LLC not to exceed $50,000. Funding for this contract is included in the Capital Improvements Program Project No. ES-4-001. Councilmembers were in agreement to proceed with the award of this contract at the regular meeting stating at 6:00 p.m.
B. Ordinance No. 1946, an ordinance to amend the General Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program of the Mayor and City Council of Laurel, Maryland, for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019. S. Michele Saylor, Director of Budget and Personnel Services said this is the third amendment to the Fiscal Year 2019, Operating Budget. The Councilmembers were in agreement to introduce this ordinance at the regular meeting starting at 6:00 p.m.
There being no further business to come before the Mayor and City Council the meeting was adjourned at 5:57 p.m.
