Present: Craig A. Moe, Mayor; Valerie M.A. Nicholas, Council President Pro Tem; Keith R. Sydnor, Councilmember; Frederick Smalls, Councilmember; Michael R. Leszcz, Councilmember; William Goddard, City Administrator; Sara Green, Chief of Staff; Rob Ferree Director of Public Works; Joanne Barr, Director of Parks and Recreation; S. Michele Saylor, Director of Budget and Personnel Services; Kevin Frost, Director of Information Technology; Lt. Hamilton, Police Department; Lawrence Taub, City Solicitor and Kimberley A. Rau, MMC, Clerk. There were four members of the public present.

Kevin Frost, Director of Information Technology presented the bid recommendation for the purchase of technology for the Police Interview Room, as outlined in a memorandum dated May 17, 2019. This technology will replace the interview room cameras and recording system. The current installation is nine years old and has surpassed by enhancements in technology. Council was in agreement to award at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Friday, June 14, 2019, 6:00 p.m.

Rob Ferree, Director of Public Works presented the bid recommendation as outlined in a memorandum dated May 14, 2019. Council in agreement, award at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Friday, June 14, 2019, 6:00 p.m.

Robert Love, Deputy Director of Economic and Community Development presented Ordinance No. 1944 (Text Amendment No. 254) An Ordinance to amend the City of Laurel Maryland Unified Land Development Code, Chapter 20, Article I, Zoning, Division 1, Definitions, Section 20-1.7, and Division 9, "Exceptions and Supplements to Regulations", Section 20-20.5 "Fences and Walls" to Allow Electric Security Fences in the Industrial General (IG) and Industrial Commercial Services (ICS) Zones of the City of Laurel, Maryland; and Providing an Effective Date. Councilmembers were in agreement to introduce the ordinance and hold the first public hearing at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Friday, June 14, 2019, 6:00 p.m.

Introduced at the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. Second public hearing scheduled for the Mayor and City Council Meeting on Friday, June 14, 2019, 6:00 p.m.

There being no further business to come before the Mayor and City Council the meeting was adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
