EIGHT HUNDRED AND SECOND MEETING
CITY OF LAUREL HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION
TUESDAY – JULY 18, 2017 – REGULAR

1. Roll Call.
2. Approval of the Minutes for the Regular HDC meeting held on June 20, 2017.
3. HDC 001-2018 for 322 Laurel Avenue, submitted by Lam Vu, requesting approval to paint the exterior of the house a Slate Gray, the trim White, the shutters a Dark Cobalt Blue, and the existing front door white. The applicant will install a new front door frame before installing the door and it will be painted white.
Staff Approvals:
HDC 002-2018 for 316 Prince George Street, submitted by Paul Davis, requesting approval to replace the existing concrete driveway and apron “In Kind”.

Citizens Present:
Vice-Chairman Kluckhuhn called the meeting to order at 7:00, read the Opening Statement and asked for a roll call. Five commissioners answered present, constituting a quorum.
Chairman Kluckhuhn asked if there were corrections or comments regarding the Minutes from the Regular HDC meeting held on June 20, 2017. There were no comments or corrections.
On a motion by Mr. Dyer, seconded by Miss McCeney, the Minutes were approved as written, on four affirmative votes, with Council President Leszcz abstaining.
Lam Vu, the applicant for HDC 001-2018 at 322 Laurel Avenue was unable to attend the meeting. The request was for approval to paint the exterior of the house a Slate Gray, the trim White, The shutters a dark Cobalt Blue, and the existing front door white. The applicant will install a new front door frame before painting the door. There was some discussion regarding the color palette.
On a motion by Miss McCeney, seconded by Mr. Dyer, the certificate was approved on a unanimous vote.
Chairman Kluckhuhn asked for new business. There was no new business.
