Christina Cornwell is a Certified Emergency Management (CEM) and Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) with over 15 year's of experience in local and state Emergency Management agencies. Her involvement over the years in Emergency Management include planning, grant management, outreach, training, and exercises design/evaluation.
In 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2017, she received the Emergency Management Person of the Year from the Northern Anne Arundel County Chambers of Commerce’s Annual Community Safety Award.
She is currently the Emergency Manager for the City of Laurel, Maryland Office of Emergency Management. In this role, Christina coordinates all aspects of Emergency Management: prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery.
