If you would like to see the voting machines that will be used in Laurel’s General Election on November 5, 2019, please plan to attend a public demonstration at the Laurel Municipal Center later this month.
The City of Laurel Board of Election Supervisors will host the event on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, from Noon – 4:00pm.
City of Laurel Council Clerk, Kimberley A. Rau, MMC, says the City will use machines from New Jersey Electec Election Services, Inc. for the electronic voting machines and the printing of paper ballots for the Election, November 5, 2019.. The company will then scan the paper ballots, absentee and provisional, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, the day after the election.
