SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for transporting senior citizens and handicapped individuals to pre-scheduled destinations in the greater Laruel area; assist with the on and off loading of passengers; completes daily automotive check list; maintains operation records; and provides imput  for appointment scheduling.  The nature of the work performed requires that an employee establish and maintain effective working relationships with the assigned supervisor, other employees, and the general public.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 21 years of age. Must have a valid Maryland Class C driver’s license and the ability to drive a 15-passenger vehicle. Must have thorough knowledge of the greater Laurel area streets and vicinity. Must be in good physical condition to perform manual tasks; have the ability to follow a daily appointment schedule and the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with the public.  Possession of a high school diploma or GED certificate.  Provide a current certified copy of your driving record is required.  EOE

AND A CRIMINAL RECORD BACKGROUND CHECK.
