SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
An employee in this position operates a variety of light, heavy and special purpose maintenance and repair equipment. The employee is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned vehicles and equipment. Performance of manual tasks in assigned work is required. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of an assigned supervisor.
High School diploma or GED from an accredited school and some experience in equipment operation and roadside maintenance, and/or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the essential requirements of work. Must possess a Maryland Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brakes endorsement or a comparable driver’s license issued by the employee’s state of residence, and a proven safe driving record. Must have the ability to acquire certification as a Registered Flagger. EOE
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL examination, Including a DRUG SCREEN, AND A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.
