SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The person in this position is responsible for individual, group and family counseling for youth up to 24 years, and their families. The Clinical Counselor is responsible for completing all documentation, notes and requirements as outlined by state, county and city regulations for operating a Youth Service Bureau. The Clinical Counselor will perform their duties under the direction of the Clinical Director.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE – Master’s Degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy or Counseling Psychology or related field and/or professional license (LCSW-C, LCMFT or LCPC) with a background in family counseling and at least two years of clinical experience, and the ability to speak and read Spanish preferred.
