The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect today, April 15th, until 8:00pm this evening.

TIMING...The strongest winds are likely from late morning and through the afternoon hours.

* WINDS...West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...A Wind Advisory means that winds of 45 to 55 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Do not leave any items outside that can become projectiles and charge your mobile devices in case of power outages.
