Nominee: Faith Calhoun

Nominated by:

Faith Calhoun is an outstanding citizen. She was a member of Laurel City Council 10 years. Faith established the Tree Board, which now has partnership with the National Parks Service. She also works diligently with the members of the Tree Board and City of Laurel to organize the Arbor Day Celebrations. She is President of Parish Council at St. Nicholas, a member of Board for Wellington HOA, a member of Laurel Citizens Police Academy Alumni and if that's not enough, she also worked tirelessly in development, planning and concept of new Laurel Senior Center.

But we're not done yet! Faith is also a member of Laurel Historical Society, Vice President of Laurel Senior Friendship Club, a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 60 and serves on the 21st Delegation Scholarship Committee.
