Citizen of the Month
Nominee: Donna Crary
Nominated by:
Donna Crary is an attorney who has her office in the City of Laurel and has made the City her home. Ms. Crary has always responded to every request the City has made of her. She has made herself available for referrals of Laurel citizens who need legal assistance, without expecting payment for her services.
Ms. Crary volunteers her time to serve the Citizens of Laurel on the Laurel Board of Appeals, the Laurel Civic Improvement Committee, and the Green Building Task Force. In addition to these commitments, Ms. Crary participates in City meetings, work sessions, and other special events, both in the planning phase and in the actual event. Many of her volunteer hours were spent in the City Clean-up Day for the Laurel Senior High School Path and Lower Field, where she was found painting structures for student use; the annual clean-up of Riverfront Park; and in the First Generation College Bound Annual 5k Run/Walk.
Ms. Crary is a dedicated volunteer and supporter of the City of Laurel and strives to maintain and improve the quality of life for all. She is most deserving of the Citizen of the Month award in honor and recognition of her service to the City of Laurel and its citizens.
