Citizen of the Month
Nominee: Robert Giuliani
Nominated by:
Robert Giuliani has taught English at Laurel High School for 16 years. He is also responsible for publishing the award-winning SHIELD school newspaper. Bob has always been one of the most energetic, involved, and caring teachers at the school. He has supervised the teen trip program with the Laurel Department of Parks & Recreation for 14 years. He plans, coordinates and supervises trips to theaters, white water rafting, skiing, and biking for teens in the Laurel area. Bob also finds time to coordinate the CYO Program at St. Mary's and coaches his two daughters in various sports. Bob grew up in Hyattsville, graduated from Northwestern High School. He graduated from the University of Maryland. He has been teaching in Prince Georges County for 30 years. He is married to Rosanne and has 2 daughters.
