Water and Sewer
The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is a bi-county agency, located on Sweitzer Lane in Laurel, providing water and sewer services to Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, including the City of Laurel. Although the WSSC. is an independent agency, please call us at 301-725-0088, if you need assistance with a problem or call WSSC directly at 301-206-4001 or for emergencies call 301-206-4002.
Leaks and Stoppages
Please notify WSSC's maintenance office (around the clock) at 301-206-4002 immediately in the event of a water leak or sewer stoppage. They will make an investigation to determine whether the problem involves Sanitary Commission Facilities or privately-owned facilities. Notifying the WSSC first, before calling a plumber, may save you unnecessary expense.
