Public Transportation Options
Laurel is serviced by a number of public transportation agencies. Below are links to their web sites and route maps.
Metro Bus - The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority operates several bus routes that pass through Laurel.
CMRT Bus Transit - Central Maryland Regional Transit stretches from Burtonsville to Glen Burnie and Ellicott City to College Park.
MARC Train System - a commuter rail system whose service areas include Harford County, Maryland; Baltimore City; Washington D.C.; Brunswick, Maryland; Frederick, Maryland and Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Special Needs Transportation Options
MetroAccess - a shared-ride, door-to-door, paratransit service for people whose disability prevents them from using bus or rail.
Call-a-Cab - a transportation assistance program at a reduced cost for seniors (age 60 and over) and disabled residents. Coupon books can be purchased and used with participating cab companies when Metro or Call-A-Bus are unavailable.
